After 10 years as a Dj and several releases on international Labels, Lydia Eisenblätter founded her own record Label, [OAM] and starts hre next chapter. Her love is fully in the American influences of Chicago and Detroit from the 90’s. A mix between house and techno paired with rough and dry elements, groovy bass lines, chords and soulful vocals. As a remixer, she has brought on board the up and coming artist from Brooklyn P.Leone and the techno legend Mark Broom from England. Both remixers complete the EP and turn it into a complete work of art.
[OAM] goes in for round two with the Ground Zero EP. The Shrine of Oinari-san is used here as a metaphor. It is a wellknown passage in Japan that leads to the sacred ground on the mountain of Inari. Lydia uses the production and titles of tracks such as „Walk“ and „Modulate“ to describes her personal way of life on her own Inari. The remixers E110101 and Lenson complete the EP and the second story of [OAM].
Surrealism is more than an artistic style – it is an artistic
movement. In this sense, Lydia’s third OAM was created during the time of the COVID-19 pandemic. Lydia adapts her own surrealism, which is reflected in the artistic language with the cover symbolized by the Las Pozas and the tracks Excile and Uncontrol on the vinyl. She musically explains the inner conflict between rational choices and wild reverie in a diffcult time. Ben Sims rounds out the theme. Giving Lydia another supporter from her personal favorite producer’s box
for [OAM].
With OAM004 the label releases a new project called Hybrid, a project that will always present the original works of two artists.
The first hybrid is by Ostreaktor and Lydia Eisenblätter, in which, both artists present the raw elements of Detroit bangers reminiscent
of the early 90’s. In this way, both artists, despite their differeces, make the first hybrid a complete work.
